The Certified Medical Dosimetrist position requires:
Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD), certified by Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB), adhering to MDCB standards and promoting the provision of safe, competent medical care for all patients requiring medical dosimetry services. - A minimum of 12 months full time experience under the supervision of a board certified radiation oncologist or radiation therapy physicist and have two (2) years experience in clinical dosimetry within the past sixty (60) months - A working knowledge of the Varian Eclipse and Aria software applications - Proficient with the Varian Clinac 2100C/D linear accelerator, Ximatron and Acuity simulators (training is acceptable in lieu of experience), and have 12 months experience with Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy planning (IMRT) and Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT). - The Dosimetrist will be required to cut blocks for electron and photon therapy
