Performs diagnostic exams to physician's orders to ensure accurate and optimal diagnostic results. Arrange, attach or adjust immobilization and support devices according to age and condition of the patient. Physician orders are verified so that no wrong studies are being performed on patients. Demonstrates complete working knowledge of all Echocardiography equipment After positioning patient correctly and applying ultrasonic gel, cardiographer performs procedure according to lab guidelines. Captures test data for physician's review while compiling doppler information, technical data and hardcopy references Artifacts are differentiated from the normal or pathological process and electronic equipment limitations are recognized. Images are properly labeled and marked with patient's name and number and images are processed appropriately for physician review.
