Job Title: Special Imaging Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Company: Personnel Board of Jefferson County Location: Birmingham, AL Description: Special Imaging Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Job Type : Regular Job Schedule : Full-time Opening Date : 2/28/2010 Salary Grade : 21 Closing Date : Salary Schedules Description : Conducts imaging procedures in specialized areas of Nuclear Medicine.Assists patients with preliminary procedures required to conduct imaging. Completes reports and paper work required to document imaging procedures. Performs administrative support duties such as scheduling patients, answering the telephone. Requirements: 1a. Graduation from an approved school or program of Radiography and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology. OR 1b. Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Nuclear Medicine. AND 2.
