Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Company: Location: Birmingham, AL Description: The incumbent performs radionuclide studies to diagnose/treat various functional disorders that require specialized knowledge and skill. Works independently, in performing routine and non-routine and research imaging procedures. Prepares proper instrument, computer and auxiliary equipment and acquires imaging procedures as indicated by protocol. Performs, evaluates and monitors quality control measurement of specialized equipment used in the performance of imaging studies. Reviews the daily work schedule to plan radiopharmaceutical dosages. Maintains records of quality control procedures, administered doses and other related daily checks as required  by NHPP, NRC, JC, OSHA, VA Regulations and other licensing and regulating bodies.
