Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - PRN Company: IASIS Healthcare Location: Tempe, AZ Description: The Staff Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT(N)) is responsible for the performance ofnuclear medicine procedures within the department. Prepares patients for Nuclear Medicine examinations, as ordered by the physician, to obtain high quality images and maintain patient exposure as low as reasonably achievable.Demonstrates competence and expertise in selected modality as to positioning, physiology, procedure preparation, and technical factors.

Lincoln Hospital - North Mountain Location: Phoenix, AZ Description: Nuclear Medicine Tech Nuclear Medicine Part-time 7:00AM-3:30PM Saturday and Sunday Day shift The Nuclear Medicine Techis responsible for performing high quality, safe Nuclear Medicine examinations and therapies for patients of all ages, as ordered by physicians and in accordance with established protocols. Orders and prepares required drugs and pharmaceuticals based on specified guidelines as determined by audit and documentation. Obtains patient history and other related documentation within specified guidelines. Performs all necessary checks of diagnosis, prescription, chart and patient identification as demonstrated by documentation. Performs functions related to quality control and radiation safety monitoring. Maintains equipment and materials within manufacturer's and organization specifications. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program or accredited school of radiologic technology 0-6 months Nuclear Med Tech experience Current AZ license from Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE) required Current certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) card required** *All of the above certifications/licenses/registrations must be renewed by the expiration date, in order to remain in compliance **New hires have 90 days from date of hire to obtain BCLS.
