Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Company: MaineGeneral Health Location: Augusta, ME Description: Assumes responsibility for and performs an extensive range of Nuclear Medicine procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of disease. These procedures frequently involve complex computer processing and independent judgement. Maine License in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Maine only) LNMT required, CNMT, RTR(N) preferred.

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Augusta Company: Cardiovascular Consultants of Maine Location: Augusta, ME Description:             Busy cardiology practice looking for a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work as a team player with the ability to work independently. To learn more about our practice and nuclear services, please visit www.heartmaine.com   Technical work in the delivery of medical nuclear services including Sestamibi, Thallium, Dipyridimol, Dual isotope, and RVG exams. Performs Quality control procedures and radiation safety activities at the direction of the Lead Nuclear Technologist. Participates in regular Q/A meetings.               1.   Performs all manner of Nuclear tests following established protocol.             2.   Ensures that all regulatory and radiation safety policies and procedures are       adhered to. Provides training and orientation for new employees. Provides       regular radiation safety review inservices for all clinical Staff.             3.   Participates in regular meetings with the Lead Nuclear Technologist, Medical       Director of Nuclear Services and the Director of Clinical Services to   develop, review, and implement systems, policies, etc.                   4.   Maintains an orderly and efficiently run lab routine.                   5.   Investigates complaints, issues raised by patients, physicians, or other offices.       Takes appropriate action within limits of authority.             6.   Performs EKGs, MLET preps as needed.                   7.   Performs other related departmental duties which may be inclusive but not       listed in job description.
