Flexible POSTED: 08/04/10 Under the direction of Nuclear Medicine Team Leader and staff Radiologist, and within established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, performs various Nuclear Medicine procedures as prescribed by physicians. Interacts with those within any of the following populations: pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric and with those of adult age on an inter-disciplinary level; must be able to effectively interact appropriate to individual's intellectual level and physical ability. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Associates degree from accredited school in Nuclear Medicine Technology required. Current Licensure in Commonwealth of Massachusetts and AART Registration or registry eligible required. Continuing education credits must meet State and Registry Licensing requirement. Current certification in C.P.R required. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: One (1) - three (3) years experience required.

Job Title: Nuclear Med Tech Company: Melrose-Wakefield Hospital Location: Melrose, MA Description: Nuclear Med Tech Nuclear Medicine Per diem Various shifts available Performs technical aspects, stress tests and a variety of routine tests or patient procedures in Nuclear Medicine Department. Demonstrates understanding of scientific principles and safe work practices associated with tests performed. Complies with JCAHO, Federal and State licensing departments and other regulatory body requirements. ARRT Certification and One year of experience preferred. REQUIREMENTS: MA Radiation Control License
