Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Company: Community Health Systems Location: Vicksburg, MS Description: Participates in the preparing, administering and calibrating of the radioactive isotopes for use in therapeutic and diagnostic studies. Provides quality care to patients in the Nuclear Medicine Department by assisting the patients, nurses and physicians as needed. Achieves adherence to infection control/standard precautions and ALARA for the Nuclear Medicine Department. Performs other related duties as required.Responsible for performing and assisting with nuclear medicine imaging of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols. Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes
