Excellent Part-time opportunity for a dynamic BE/BC Radiation Oncologist to join a growing, progressive Radiation Oncology private practice in Rochester, New York with both a hospital based office and a secondary state of the art satellite office. Radiation Oncology of Rochester offers state of the art equipment, an established referral base, the opportunity for growth with the recent opening of the new satellite office and competitive compensation. We treat 60-75 patients daily with an excellent support staff inclusive of nurse practitioner, practice manager, senior radiation therapists, staff radiation therapists, full-time physicists, dosimetrists, nursing, unit technicians, transcriptionist and clerical support team members. Treatments are delivered on an Elekta Precise Linear Accelerator, a Varian 600C Linear Accelerator and a Varian Clinac IX Linear Accelerator. Simulations are performed on a Phillips AcQSim CT Simulation system. We use a Mosaiq record and verify system and an Eclipse treatment planning system. In addition to conventional external beam radiotherapy, we perform LDR and HDR brachytherapy. The HDR is performed using a Nucletron Microselection-HDR V2 with Plato treatment planning.
