Position Summary:
This inside sales, phone based position is for a dedicated ultrasound parts sales rep to help grow parts sales and manage customer relationships. Primary responsibilities will include quoting and closing ultrasound parts sales and acquiring new customers. Hours of position are 10:00 am ? 7:00 pm M-F.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
1.Quickly respond to incoming customer requests for ultrasound parts from an inventory of over 5000 sku numbers.
2.Drive as many sales to closure as possible in a competitive environment.
3.Create and send out weekly sales e-mail to all customers in company distribution group.
4.Identify and pursue new sales channels through cold calling, Internet searches, and other sources as necessary.
5.Prepare all paperwork related to the transaction, including Sales Order, inventory parts pull sheet, FedEx airbill, customer return instructions, etc.
6.Oversee that all parts get pulled and packaged correctly and shipped to customer with correct shipment terms.
7.Provide good follow up with customers to ensure repeat sales.
8.Transport and deliver all packages to FedEx facility nightly.

Execute all varieties of diagnostic ultrasound exams presently offered by the department in an efficient and professional manner; perform all examinations in accordance with the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) standards and department protocols; determine correct techniques to obtain images of the highest quality and resolution; determine suitable areas for needle aspirations and/or tissue biopsies for pathologic diagnosis.
Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, reporting all malfunctions to the department manager/director or Clinical Engineering.
Maintain the physical environment of the department in a clean, well stocked and orderly manner.
Serve as a liaison between patients, interpreting physicians (radiologists) and referring physicians; explain testing procedures to the patient and/or family; and ensures that emergent exam results are relayed promptly to the appropriate physician or medical floor.
Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the potential of medical/health care issues.
Maintain confidentiality regarding all patient, personnel and medical center information.
