Travel CT Tech

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Travel CT Technologist to join our nationwide team of imaging professionals. The Travel CT Tech will perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols while adapting quickly to new clinical environments. This role requires flexibility, professionalism, and a strong commitment to patient safety and diagnostic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT (computed tomography) equipment to produce diagnostic images of the body

  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety

  • Administer contrast media as necessary, monitoring for adverse reactions

  • Review images for quality and accuracy, ensuring diagnostic value

  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to deliver timely and accurate imaging results

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in the facility’s PACS/RIS system

  • Follow all radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines

  • Travel to different healthcare facilities as assigned and adapt to new teams and systems quickly

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field

  • ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required

  • Active state licensure(s) where applicable or willingness to obtain additional licenses

  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of recent CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting

  • Previous travel experience preferred but not required

  • Strong technical and anatomical knowledge

  • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in using CT systems (GE, Siemens, Philips, or Toshiba) and PACS software

  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, weekends, holidays, and be on-call as needed

Assignment Details:

  • Typical contract length: 13 weeks (may vary by facility)

  • Shifts: Day, evening, or overnight based on assignment

  • Competitive pay rates with weekly direct deposit
