MRI Technologist

Location: Fairfax MRI Center at Tysons, Northern Virginia
Department: Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging
Modality: MRI – GE 3T Premier, GE 1.5T Artist

About the Role:

We’re growing! We’ve recently added a second MRI scanner — the GE 1.5T Artist — to our modern outpatient imaging center in Tysons. This expansion enhances both patient care and workflow efficiency, providing our technologists with access to some of the most advanced MRI technology in the region.

Our current MRI suite includes:

• GE 3T Premier
• NEW: GE 1.5T Artist

Who You Are:

You are an MRI Technologist who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. This is your chance to be part of a growing team that values teamwork, innovation, and patient-centered care.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine and specialty MRI procedures
• Deliver high-quality imaging with a strong focus on patient safety and comfort
• Work within clearly defined MRI safety zones and follow best practices
• Maintain imaging protocols and ensure accurate documentation in PACS/RIS
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists to ensure timely and quality diagnostic services

What You’ll Bring:

• 6+ months MRI experience OR completion of a formal MRI training program
• Certification by ARRT (R) or MRI, or ARMRIT
• BLS certification
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a high-volume outpatient setting
