The RDMS works in conjunction with staff and medical director regarding all medical and clinical areas of the center. The RDMS will perform ultrasound scans for clients.
Qualifications:

- Exhibits strong interpersonal and administrative skills
- Possesses a current RDMS credential and is in good standing with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Client Care:
Maintain working knowledge of medical methods, principles and practices in relation to the prevention and treatment of disease, emergency procedures, safety and infection control, clinical systems, supplies and equipment.
- Provide assessments and judgments that reflect safe RDMS practices
- Maintain accurate records
- Maintain protocol for clients at risk for miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy and follow-up procedures
- Follow up with abortion-risk clients and document appropriately
- Meet with clients as needed to discuss any medical questions/concerns. Refer them for appropriate medical care as needed.
- Assist staff in developing policies and procedures and review annually
- Maintain infection control protocol and safety precautions
- Assist staff with medical equipment to ensure that all is properly operated and maintained
Education: High school or equivalent required
Experience: Minimum of one year of sonography required
License/Certification: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer required
