We are currently seeking a Part-time Sonographer to who will work under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, and will serve as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Staff Sonographer role and responsibilities include providing diagnostic medical sonography services and its various clinical specialties. The Staff Sonographer activities are performed consistent with their education and training, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures and applicable professional standards.

Qualifications include:

  • Associate's Degree in related discipline
  • Allied Health and Accreditation program graduate or equivalent
  • NM Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program Licensure (NMMIRT) required by 06/30/19
  • Addendum - (ARDMS) American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Ultrasound Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • CPR Certification for Healthcare/BLS Providers or for Professional Rescuers or must obtain within 30 calendar days of date of position
