We have a full time opportunity for a Mammography Technologist to join our team:

Under general supervision, administers diagnostic medical mammograms and assists mammography interventional procedures for the diagnosis of disease.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Completion of a course of study in Radiologic Technology specializing in Mammography as approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Experience: Typically, one year; none required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of mammography procedures. Knowledge of age specific needs of patients. Skill in data input. Communication, collaboration, cooperation and interpersonal skills. Ability to study and identify physician requests for radiologic procedures. Ability to exercise judgment in selecting and computing machine settings to compensate for patient variances. Ability to produce quality images of delicate anatomical structures.

Certificate/License/Registration: Registered Radiologic Mammography Technologist with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) Certification required. Current Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider Certification/CPR. All Certifications and Licenses required for this job must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.
