Our client, a Health Services Organization, is seeking a Retinal Imaging Technician to join their team. As a Retinal Imaging Technician, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting patient care and health solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Retinal Imaging Technician

Location: Tallahassee, FL (Remote)

What's the Job?

  • Capture images of the eyes of diabetic patients.
  • Educate and set appropriate patient expectations regarding the purpose and screening process.
  • Upload and transmit patient images and reports through an online portal during or immediately after each screening.
  • Travel to screening locations, perform screening prep, and wrap-up duties as outlined.
  • Collaborate with remote team members and management, as well as screening location staff.

What's Needed?

  • Associate degree or equivalent work history.
  • Minimum of 2 years working in a healthcare professional environment with customer or patient interaction.
  • Minimum of 1 year medical or eye care experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn company software systems.
