Our client, a national leader in Cardiac PET imaging, is seeking a skilled and motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support their mission of improving cardiac care access through cutting-edge imaging solutions.

As the organization continues to grow, they are looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist ready to make an impact in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Position Overview
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for preparing, administering, and monitoring radioactive isotopes used in diagnostic cardiac studies. This individual plays a key role in ensuring patient safety and maintaining high standards of imaging quality and equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
Administer radiopharmaceuticals intravenously for cardiac diagnostics under the supervision of a cardiologist
Calculate and document radiation doses in accordance with prescribed protocols
Perform and document quality control procedures on imaging equipment
Maintain and calibrate lab instruments and ensure proper handling and storage of radiopharmaceuticals
Process imaging data and prepare radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
Guide patients through procedures, explaining steps and ensuring their comfort and safety
Manage end-of-day system backups and maintain inventory records
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and licenses
Maintain cleanliness and organization of mobile units and ensure professional appearance of team members
Coordinate with Radiation Safety Officer and management for inspections, issues, or procedural updates
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program
Current certification through NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine), along with applicable state certification
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Previous experience in nuclear cardiology preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and medical software systems
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays, and operate out of a mobile unit
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and maneuver mobile equipment up to 300 lbs
Physical Requirements
Frequent talking, hearing, and manual dexterity
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform medium physical labor
Clear visual acuity for screen and equipment monitoring
Must be able to work independently and comfortably within mobile units
