Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a CT Tech for our weekend package!

As a CT Tech at MercyOne, you will perform radiologic procedures in the CT area for patients ranging from infants to geriatrics.

Schedule:

  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday
  • 12 hour shifts - 6:00pm - 6:30am
  • 5 out of 6 weekends.

General Requirements:

  • Produces quality CT images by utilizing adequate positioning skills and technical factors, as well as, is knowledgeable of anatomical structures pertinent to the patient population of infants to geriatrics. Sends images to PACS for interpretation.
  • Informs patients of examinations being performed and obtains consent to perform procedure.
  • Transports patients to and from Radiology as needed.
  • Assists the Radiologist in the administration of contrast material.
  • Practices proper radiation protection techniques in accordance with prescribed safety standards in regard to self, patients, when ionizing radiation is present.

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Graduate of a CT training program or minimum of one-year experience in CT preferred
  • Current ARRT
  • Current Iowa permit to practice from Iowa Department of Public Health.
  • Minimum of one-year clinical experience in general diagnostic radiology preferred
