Seeking experienced Ob/Gyn sonographer for busy private Ob/Gyn practice. Practice has two physicians. Obstetrical and gynecologic sonograms in addition to saline sonograms to be performed. Applicant must have Ob/Gyn experience.

Summary

As an OB/GYN Sonographer, you will be integral to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to expectant mothers and non-pregnant women. Reporting to the lead physician, your role involves utilizing advanced sonography techniques to assess fetal development, maternal health, and gynecologic conditions. Your core skills in medical imaging, anatomy, and physiology will be essential in delivering accurate results. Responsibilities

  • Perform sonographic examinations to assess and monitor the health of patients during pregnancy.
  • Perform abdominal and pelvic sonograms on non-pregnant patient to assess gynecologic problems
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret imaging results.
  • Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to medical protocols to ensure patient safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide support.
  • Document findings and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with medical standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to obstetrics and gynecology
  • Proficiency in sonography and medical imaging techniques
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and aseptic techniques
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting
  • Worked with Mindray sono equipment and proficient in EMR use, office currently uses Athena.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $50.00 per sonogram

Anticipated Hours:

  • Monday – Wednesday 9-11:30 and 1 to 3:30 and on Thursday morning 9 – 11:30am. Start/finish times may vary if additional sono’s need to be undertaken based on schedule needs.
  • Sonograms 15-30 minutes per sonogram
