Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the direction of Radiology leadership, coordinates the daily operations of the US department and its affiliates. As a working lead, you will be responsible for maintaining expert technical skills . Collaborates with Radiology leadership to ensure maintained compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and protocols. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel supporting the Mission, Vision, and Values of HCA HealthONE. Is able to provide care to assigned patients and assures a safe care environment. Manages supplies/inventory, productivity, and key operations to achieve budgetary targets. Collaborates in the decision-making structure and processes with the Radiology leadership team and assists in projects, financial, and growth planning. Leads and trains employees, provides employee education, maintains employee competency-based performance, performs annual reviews, maintains current employee files, and monitors attendance/staffing of the department. Provides and maintains age-specific exam competencies and protocols for patients with various clinical conditions and age ranges. Assists in the implementation and documentation of an effective and continuous program to measure, assess, and improve performance outcomes for both patient and physician satisfaction, and employee engagement. Must be willing to enter the call rotation, to include weekends and holidays, is accessible to staff on all shifts, and will provide required coverage as it arises. Performs any additional duties assigned by Radiology leadership. Adheres to the HCA HealthONE iCARE Standards at all times.
What qualifications you will need:- Current ARDMS certification with Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification. Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Completion of an accredited sonography program.
- 5 years of radiology experience preferred; 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Must be familiar with all US procedures with a high degree of critical thinking skills necessary for operation of equipment and patient care. Must be capable of applying technical skills to all age patients.
- Involves general guidance and direction by the Radiology leadership team. Will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established supervisor expectations, and departmental and hospital policies/procedures.

- (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician
- High School Graduate / GED
