Job Description
Summary
Summary- Performs Ultrasound sonographic procedures in accordance with established procedures.
- Demonstrates age appropriate care towards all customers.
Responsibilities
- Consistently demonstrates competence in performing all ultrasound techniques and examinations with special attention to abdominal, retroperitoneal and vascular scans.
- Assists with minor Ultrasound invasive procedures (excyst aspiration and biopsies).
- Practices preventive maintenance procedures and reports all needed repairs to supervisor.
- Presents procedure images and concise history to the radiologist.
- Confers with radiologist about tentative diagnosis and observes radiologist scan.
Provides excellent customer support by demonstrating the Northwest values of Innovation, Compassion, Accountability and Teamwork.
Experience:
Required: * Less than one year
Education:
Required: * High School / GED Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited school of Sonography.
Licenses And Certification :
Required: * Basic Life Support Preferred: * Registered Diagnostic Sonographer ARDMS certified or board eligible; Board certification within 1 year of employment
