Job Description
Under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the Chief Radiologist, technologists are responsible for the care and safety of patient's radiographic procedures; use of radiographic equipment; maintaining records; assuring appropriate supplies. QUALIFICATION
- EDUCATION:
- Formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology is required.
- EXPERIENCE/SKILL SETS:
- Previous experience in all areas of Radiologic technology in a hospital setting is preferred.
CT or Mammography experience is preferred - On the job training is available.
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S):
- Certified in CPR
- Certified by the ARRT required, except those technologists credentialed through state certification which the State of Vermont Board of Radiologic Technology delegates approval power by rule and hired prior to January 1, 2000.
- Licensed by the State of Vermont
