Job Summary and QualificationsAs the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Lead, you will supervise, organize and oversee the daily activities of the Nuclear Medicine department and performance of the staff Nuclear Medicine Technologists. What you will do in this role:
- You must demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
- You will perform all nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.
- You may perform emergency care.
- You will inspect machinery, office equipment and/ or medical equipment.
- You will receive radioactive materials, prepare radioactive material doses and maintain radiation records.
- You will perform all related duties such as; scheduling, charging exams, etc.
- Graduate of an AMA accredited nuclear school of medicine or Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology is required.
- One year of previous Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in a hospital environment is required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Current license with the State of Texas, ARRT and/or NMTCB license is required.
- (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
- (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist
