Radiology Tech Assistant- PRN

UVA Outpatient Imaging Culpeper is seeking a Technologist Assistant to join our patient focused team!

Position Details:

• PRN Status (as needed for staffing gaps, vacation coverage, call-outs, etc.)
• Location: Outpatient Imaging Center in Culpeper, VA

EXPERIENCE:

• One year as a trained Phlebotomist and/or Medical Assistant experience required and/or currently enrolled in a Medical Imaging Program.

EDUCATION:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire. (Offered at the facility)

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to work efficiently as an extension of certified/registered staff or licensed independent practitioner.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
