Job Description
Asphalt Green, Battery Park City, is looking to hire certified Yoga Instructors with the ability to connect with diverse class participants. Qualified candidates must be available to teach at various weekday and weekend times.
Instructors are expected to:
- Have experience teaching yoga in a group setting.
- Have experience integrating blocks, straps, and bolsters in a group class setting.
- Have a good movement toolbelt. Instructors should be able to spot movement flaws quickly and correct participants within 1-2 cues.
- Have experience (or be comfortable) being mic'd up.
- Ability to lift and move class equipment.
- Ability to bend, balance, and perform upper and lower body poses.

QualificationsGroup Exercise or Personal Training certification is required as well as a current CPR certification.
