OR Radiology Tech II - Temp Contract $ 50 / hr

Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist II - OR, will be required to cover all surgical procedures in surgery and occasionally in the Special Procedures area. Primary job duties involve the daily use of C-Arms and associated equipment. An excellent working knowledge of this type of equipment is critical to this job role. Call rotation for after-hours coverage is required.

Schedule: Temporary Contract, call rotation is required

Rate of Pay: $50 / hr

Qualifications

• 2-4 years clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist required
• 3-5 years clinical experience in Invasive Lab setting preferred
• Experience using C-Arm, highly preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining radiology equipment.
• Knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and positioning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control protocols.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate imaging and documentation.
