Overview**
**Job Title:** Epic Community Connect Consultant
**Cayuse Company:** Cayuse Civil Services, LLC
**Work Location:** Remote
**Salary Range:** $90-$160 per hour
**Employee Type:** Part-Time 1099 Short-Term Contract - with possibility of long term
We are hiring an Epic Community Connect Consultant to support system configuration, affiliate workflow alignment, and go-live planning for a Community Connect expansion. This short-term engagement will provide build and operational support during proposal and early implementation phases, with the potential to transition into a longer-term role as the project expands.
**Responsibilities**
+ Support application build, workflow documentation, and testing for Epic modules (Ambulatory, Cadence, MyChart, PB)
+ Participate in affiliate discovery sessions and translate needs into Epic configurations
+ Configure SmartSets, visit types, note templates, and user security settings
+ Assist in developing affiliate onboarding playbooks and go-live support plans
+ Provide operational input into project timelines, resource needs, and readiness planning
+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with Epic best practices and host organization policies
**Qualifications**
**Required Experience:**
+ Epic Certification in Ambulatory (Preferred); Cadence, PB, or MyChart preferred
+ 2+ years Epic experience, with at least 1 Community Connect implementation
+ Proficiency with SmartTools, personalization, and Epic build documentation
+ Experience supporting affiliate clinical staff and operations teams during onboarding
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
**Preferred Experience:**
Familiarity with Epic user provisioning and affiliate access (e.g., EpicCare Link)
Prior consulting or contract experience with health systems or Epic vendors
**Working Conditions**
+ **Work Environment:** Remote position with occasional travel as needed to support client and affiliate operations.
+ **Physical Demands:** Primarily requires extended periods of sitting, typing, and using a computer. Candidates must have the ability to maintain productivity in a home office environment.
+ **Schedule Flexibility:** Must be able to adapt to project needs, which may include occasional evening or weekend meetings or urgent travel.
