Job Description


Location: New Surgery Center- Located within one mile of Gulf Coast Medical Center

Department: Radiology - Diagnostics

Work Type: Full Time

Shift: 1st Shift

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $26.25 - $34.12/hour

*Eligible candidates can receive up to $17,900.00*

Summary

Performs diagnostic radiology imaging including routine, mobile, OR, fluoroscopy and emergency procedures. Complies with State and Federal regulations for radiation usage and safety. Evaluates and determines diagnostic image quality of recorded images. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participates in staff/student orientation and training. Provides appropriate and safe patient care. Works positively with all customers to promote employer, patient, and physician satisfaction. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed. Required to participate in on call rotation as determined per specific department needs.

Requirements Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/
Preferred and/or Additional Requirements

Graduate of JRCERT Accredited or ARRT approved Radiography Program

Experience Requirements Minimum Years Required Area of Experience Required/
Preferred and/or No Experience Required State of Florida Licensure Requirements Licenses Required/
Preferred and/or Radiologic Technology License Required Certifications/Registration Requirements Certificates/Registrations Required/
Preferred and/or BLS (American Heart Association/Basic Life Support) Required
