Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide array of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure each patients comfort and safety during procedures, carefully explaining each step of the process
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate the imaging equipment, reporting any issues swiftly
• Document all procedures accurately and manage patient records through our electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Required

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred: Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Needed

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
