About the JobAs a Dosimetrist , youll collaborate with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to design accurate, safe, and effective radiation treatment plans. Youll use advanced planning software, multiple imaging modalities, and critical thinking to deliver precise care tailored to each patient.
What Youll NeedMinimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Medical Dosimetry
- Less than 1 year of experience (training includes handson treatment planning)
Licensure/Certifications
Required:
- CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)

Pay Range: $98,000 - $147,000 per year
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
