Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract This opportunity calls for a skilled Radiologic Technologist proficient in general X-ray imaging, with the ability to function across multiple specialized areas including fluoroscopy, OR support, and portable imaging. The role is set within a dynamic imaging department equipped with four rooms, including three general X-ray suites, one fluoroscopy suite, two portable units, and three C-Arms. You'll be part of a team of 6-7 techs during day shifts, supported by several colleagues on evenings and a single tech on midnights. Location:

This position is based in a healthcare facility in Weirton, WV. Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week Steady afternoon and midnight shifts Every other weekend midnight shift Qualifications / Desired Experience: Current BLS certification Valid West Virginia X-ray License and CARES certification prior to start ARRT certification required Ability to perform in all imaging areas (General X-ray, Portables, OR and Fluoro) Experience with Community Works EMR, Intellirad/Intelliconnect PACS, and equipment such as GE, Siemens, Philips, and Del Medical systems Flexibility to float between general radiology, fluoroscopy, and OR cases Will consider first-time traveler technologists Must submit a copy of an unexpired driver's license and disclose licensing history upon submission Compliance with a 50-mile radius submission rule Responsibilities: Perform approximately 110 studies per day across general X-ray, fluoroscopy (ortho and GI), portable imaging, and OR cases (including cystoscopy and ortho) Provide coverage as the sole technologist during overnight shifts and assist with weekend and holiday rotations as needed Adhere to professional dress standards; travelers may wear scrubs of any clean, professional color Complete a five-shift orientation with preceptor to ensure familiarity with all department protocols and equipment This contract position offers a balanced rotation of afternoon and midnight shifts, providing steady scheduling and a chance to work with a supportive imaging team.
