Responsibilities
  • Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography examinations.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high?quality cardiac images for cardiologist review.
  • Assess and record patient history pertinent to cardiac testing and explain procedures to patients.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to interpret results and optimize patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital, state, and federal imaging protocols and quality standards.
  • Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team.
Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field.
  • Current RDCS or RCS certification required (state licensure where applicable).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience performing echocardiograms.
  • Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting cardiac images.
  • Excellent communication, critical?thinking, and patient?care skills.
  • Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities.
