JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and coordination of all functions in the Stillwater Medical Center Imaging Departments, Stillwater Medical--Blackwell Imaging Departments, and Stillwater Medical--Perry Imaging Department while ensuring the best possible service to patients, physicians, employees, and the public. QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in a formal Radiologic Technology Program, or Bachelor’s Degree in another appropriate field.
  • Preferred minimum of five years supervisory experience in any area in Radiologic Technology.
  • Required certification by appropriate Radiology/Medical Imaging body through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Current BLS or completion of course within 30 days of hire.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing.
  • Able to frequently lift up to 60 pounds, reach, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read, write, and evaluate medical images.
  • Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the telephone.
  • Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately observe, monitor, and administer care.
  • Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care.
