This contract opportunity focuses on CT imaging, supporting a high-volume department with state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative, skilled team. The assignment is based in a reputable hospital and offers structured daytime hours. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm No call requirements Qualifications & Required Experience: Active BLS certification West Virginia Radiologic Technology License (can be applied for after receiving an offer) IV insertion experience is essential Must disclose any licensing issues at the time of application Completion of WV CARES background check before start Prefer ARRT (CT) certification or at least 3-5 years of recent CT experience Multitasking ability and composure in a fast-paced environment Open to first-time travelers Core Responsibilities: Perform CT imaging studies of the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, as well as biopsies (biopsy training provided if needed) Operate advanced CT equipment: GE VCT 64 slice and Siemens Somatom Definition 64 slice Set up sterile trays and prepare patients for procedures Administer IVs and assist with premedication as necessary, with support from nursing as available Manage a robust daily case loadaveraging 65 scans per day Document procedures using Community Works EMR and Intellirad/Intelliconnect PACS systems Participate in five orientation shifts with a preceptor at the start of your assignment Department Culture: Join a friendly, committed CT team with three techs per day shift Radiologist available in-house until 5 pm and on-call thereafter Flexible scrub attireany clean, professional color is acceptable This is an excellent chance to expand your CT expertise, participate in a supportive orientation, and gain experience in a fast-paced hospital environment.
