Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into an advanced imaging environment where your expertise in CT technology will directly impact patient care. As an essential member of a dynamic radiology team, you'll operate in a well-equipped department with 2 CT rooms, averaging 65 studies daily, utilizing modern GE and Siemens scanners. The workplace ensures 3 technologists on duty each day and provides strong support, including available nursing staff for IVs and premeds. Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday No on-call requirement Qualifications: Current BLS certification required West Virginia X-ray license (may apply after receiving an offer) WV CARES screening needed prior to start Preferred: ARRT (CT) registered, or at least 3-5 years of CT experience Able to start IVs and function independently Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to multitask Willing to train the right candidate in biopsy procedures First-time travelers are welcome Role Responsibilities: Perform CT imaging procedures: head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, biopsies, and sterile tray setups Ensure safe and accurate use of GE VCT 64 slice and Siemens Somatom Definition 64 slice equipment Utilize Community Works EMR and Intellirad/Intelliconnect PACS for documentation Practice professional communication with a multidisciplinary team May wear any color scrubs, or choose emerald green to match permanent staff Benefits and Perks: Supportive orientation period (5 shifts with a preceptor) Consistent day schedule, promoting work-life balance Exposure to varied and advanced studies, bolstering skill development No floating to other imaging areas required Bring your CT imaging knowledge and collaborative spirit to a department that values professional growth.
