Description

University Physicians' Association is excited to welcome a skilled and compassionate full-time Ultrasound Technician to join University Women's Specialists, conveniently located on the main UT Medical Center campus in Knoxville. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on delivering exceptional care to obstetrical and gynecology patients.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging for abdominal and pelvic ultrasounds on OB/GYN patients
  • Conduct perinatal ultrasounds, including fetal anatomical surveys, Doppler studies, and assessments of fetal well-being
  • Assist physicians during in-office procedures requiring ultrasound guidance
  • Provide clear, compassionate explanations of procedures while addressing patient questions and concerns
  • Travel periodically to satellite offices within the Knoxville area, as needed
  • Document findings accurately using the electronic medical records system
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with providers and care team members
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all office policies
  • Support clinic operations by assisting with workflow and other duties to ensure excellent patient care
  • Work confidently and independently while remaining a strong team player

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • A friendly, professional demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care
  • Ability to manage responsibilities independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • OB/GYN experience preferred.
  • RDMS registered required.
  • Graduate of accredited ultrasound program.
