Key Skills & Experience:

• Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR preferred)
• State licensure as required for MRI Technologists
• Prior hands-on experience working in a clinical MRI setting
• Proficiency in performing a wide range of imaging studies, including neurological, musculoskeletal, and abdominal MRI scans
• Knowledge of MRI safety standards for patients and staff
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with radiologists, healthcare providers, and patients
• Ability to adapt to varying workflow and patient needs

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners and auxiliary equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety protocols
• Maintain accurate records and document imaging procedures in line with regulatory and facility standards
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure precise image capturing and support timely diagnosis
• Monitor equipment operations and promptly report maintenance needs or malfunctions
• Follow all hospital and departmental policies, including infection control and data security practices
• Educate patients on the MRI process, addressing questions and alleviating concerns as needed
