  • FT 36hr

Qualificions:

  • ARDMS or CCI certificion required. New grads will have 6 months to pass registry.
  • Experience with adult echocardiography techniques
  • Strong pient communicion skills

Wh We're Looking For:
  • Educion: High School or GED, required. 2 Year / Associe Degree, preferred. Gradue from a formal Cardiovascular Program th is accredited by the Commission on Accredition of Allied Health Educion Programs, preferred.
  • Experience: O ne year, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certificion: Registered Cardiac Sonographer, credentials RDCS or RCS (New Gradues will have 6 months to pass registry), required.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements (required):
    • Ability to effectively opere sonographic equipment.
    • Ability to evalue echocardiogram in order to acquire approprie diagnostic informion.
    • Ability to shift workload to meet pient needs.
    • Ability to use independent judgment to acquire the optimum echocardiogram informion in each examinion performed.
    • Ability to follow established departmental procedures.
    • Ability to work efficiently and cope with emergency situions.
    • Must demonstre thorough knowledge of echocardiography interpretion, echocardiography skills, and considerable echocardiography abilities.
    • Communicion skills and sensitivity to pient needs.
    • Ability to interpret informion to identify each pients requirements for care relive to his/her age specific needs.

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures with accuracy and compassion.
  • Collabore with physicians and care teams to provide precise and timely diagnostic informion.
  • Ensure the comfort, dignity, and safety of each pient throughout their imaging experience.
  • Maintain high standards for image quality, safety, and compliance.
