This is a 13-week travel opportunity with shifts Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week). You'll work alongside experienced radiology professionals, gaining exposure to diverse clinical practices and leadership methods as you strengthen your expertise in imaging.
In this role, you will:
- Perform CT procedures, including those of an invasive nature, with the use of a Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner.
- Position and instruct patients, operating specialized imaging equipment.
- Determine technical factors for image exposure, ensuring accurate marking and labeling of all films.
- Deliver safe, high-quality patient care with consistent excellence.
- Respond efficiently to on-call situations as assigned.
To succeed, candidates should have:
- Graduation from an AMA-approved Radiology program and ARRT registration.
- Strong knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy.
- At least two years of diagnostic experience preferred.
- Capacity to meet moderate to heavy physical requirements, including moving and lifting patients/equipment up to 40 pounds and pushing loaded stretchers.
- Excellent stamina, flexibility, and manual dexterity.
- Proficiency with computer systems.
- Sound judgment and accurate decision-making in clinical settings.
