Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center is the South Metro areas full-service medical center, with the friendly feel of a community hospital and the skill and services of a much larger medical center. Among our specialties: stroke, chest pain, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, cancer care and orthopedic and total joint surgery. Plus, a birth center and breast health center.

Responsibilities:

Performs imaging procedures according to physician's orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment regarding exposure factors, imaging technique, and pient trement. Proficient in the field of MRI.

Qualificions:

Educion:

Gradue of certified Radiologic Technology school or program or gradue of a certified Allied Health Imaging program.

Experience:

One-year previous experience in the field of MRI preferred. Keyboard skills and ability to navige electronic systems applicable to job functions.

Licensure:

Licensure/Certificion:

ARRT certificion in Radiography, or ARRT certificion in MRI required.

If not MRI-certified time of hire, ARRT certificion in MRI, or ARMRIT certificion in MRI required within six months. In Oregon, a Temporary Post-Primary License is available for individuals licensed ARRT in Radiography. The Temporary Post-Primary MRI License, if required, must be secured prior to appointment to the MRI Technologist position.

Current ste license in Magnetic Resonance Imaging required for all employees who perform this job in the ste of Oregon. Current ste license in Magnetic Resonance Imaging required for all employees who perform this job in the ste of Washington.

American Heart Associion BLS/CPR Certificion: Personnel providing direct care in pient care and diagnostic areas are required to acquire and maintain BLS/CPR certificion.
