Become a vital part of a Charleston, SC hospital team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning protocols, administer contrast materials safely, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for emergency department patients. The role supports a free-standing emergency room environment and requires adherence to hospital policies and patient safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- ARRT(R) with CT certification required.
- SCRQSA certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- At least 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or emergency department setting required. (1+ year acceptable.)
- General radiology technologist experience, including emergency department x-ray and CT examinations.
- Experience with GE Optima 660 CT and GE Proteus x-ray equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a free-standing emergency room or 12-room ED environment.
- Previous experience following rotating weekend and holiday schedules in coordination with hospital staff.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 1900 - 07:30.
- Schedule includes every other weekend and holiday rotation in coordination with hospital employees.
- Typical shift length: 12.5 hours per shift.
- May be required to rotate to other shifts based upon staffing needs.
