Join our team in Hilo, HI as an Ultrasound Technologist with vascular specialization. Perform a range of sonographic examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, neonatal, superficial structures, and comprehensive vascular studies. Maintain patient safety and comfort while documenting results and assisting with procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, drainages, and intraoperative imaging.

Minimum Qualifications

  • National certification in relevant specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred credentials such as RVT or RDMS acceptable).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated competency to proficient skill level in: abdomen (aorta, IVC, liver/biliary, pancreas, spleen, renal), gynecologic and obstetric imaging across trimesters, neonatal head imaging, superficial structures (breast, thyroid, scrotum), and vascular exams (carotid duplex, segmental pressures, upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex).
  • Experience performing procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainages, and intraoperative imaging.
  • Familiarity with Canon i700 ultrasound systems, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS preferred.
  • BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior cross-sectional experience covering general abdominal, OB/GYN, neonatal, superficial, and vascular sonography across a hospital imaging department.

Assignment Details

  • Shift: Variable.
  • May be required to perform intraoperative and interventional ultrasound procedures.
