Become a vital part of the healthcare team as an experienced CT Technologist in Myrtle Beach, SC. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials as directed, and operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for a free-standing emergency department.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
- Active SC radiologic technologist license (SCQRSA) or eligibility to obtain state licensure.
- BLS certification.
- Demonstrated CT experience and knowledge. CT certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience preferred.
- Proficiency in both CT and diagnostic radiography procedures.
- Experience with GE 64-slice CT equipment and digital radiography preferred.
- Experience documenting in Meditech preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working independently in a small free-standing emergency department or similar fast-paced setting.
- Prior travel or per diem experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 08:0020:00.
- Call requirement: approximately 2 call shifts per month.
- Single technologist staffing model with responsibility for routine CT and diagnostic X-ray exams (approximately 1020 CT exams per shift).
