Join Jackson HealthPros as an experienced Mammography Tech for a travel assignment in Reno, NV. In this role, you will perform specialized breast examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. You will work under the supervision of the Manager of the Reno Breast Center and contribute to high-quality mammographic imaging and patient care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Mammography (M) certification required.
- Valid Nevada state radiologic license required prior to start date.
- Minimum of 2 years of mammography technologist experience required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Ability to operate mammography units and department computer systems.
- Willingness to float to meet organizational needs up to competency level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-volume hospital or breast center environment preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift type: Flexible shifts; schedule varies based on department needs.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.
- No routine on-call requirement.
- Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts; incumbents may be required to work 2 or 3 major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.
- Travelers may be required to float within the organization as needed.
- Renown may adjust or call off shifts up to 48 hours prior for low census during a 13-week contract; this may apply to full or partial shifts.

As a clinician with Jackson HealthPros, you will provide diagnostic mammography and assist radiologists and referring physicians. You must demonstrate technical skill to operate mammography equipment, deliver age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric patients, and meet departmental competency standards. This position requires making technical decisions to optimize mammographic image quality and may include additional duties related to the Reno Breast Center as needed.
