In this role, you#ll be a vital part of our clinical#team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As the Special Procedures Tech, you will assist#Physicians performing surgical radiographic procedures efficiently utilizing various techniques (Large C-arm operation, Mini C-arm operation, sterile technique # processing CR films) at a technical level that requires independent judgment.# What You#ll Do Special Procedure Technologists properly position the patients and operate and manipulate the equipment to ensure that usable scans and images are produced in the surgical setting. Monitors safe radiation practices during procedures for the staff and patients (Shielding, ALARA) Responsible for following Surgical Center and Imaging Department policies and procedures and completing all competencies, along with providing outstanding customer service. Verifies all pertinent orders, ensures proper patient safety and preparation for procedures. Prepares equipment and patients for pain management procedures, including sterile tray and sterile patient preparation. Provides direct patient care within the patient care area and notifies a clinical staff member if patient condition changes. Assists with routine stocking and maintenance of procedural rooms and patient care areas. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with Saratoga Hospital values Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support health, healing, and service excellence Perform clinical responsibilities with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency Use hospital systems and tools to document care and support operations Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and support patient and staff satisfaction Serve as a positive, professional representative of our hospital and community What You Bring Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
