Position Highlights: Job Type: Ultrasound Tech Location: Community Hospital/Radiology Schedule: Full-Time Application Deadline: Open until May 31, 2026 Responsibilities: Conduct Ultrasound Examinations: Perform sonographic examinations of various parts of the body, including abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics, and vascular systems. Patient Interaction: Explain procedures to patients, address their concerns, and ensure their comfort during the examination. Image Acquisition: Use specialized equipment to capture high-quality images, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols. Analyzing Images: Assess the images for quality and accuracy, recognizing any abnormalities that may require further investigation. Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed patient records, documenting procedures performed, findings, and any relevant patient history. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and functions correctly, reporting any issues promptly. Requirements: Associate or bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in diagnostic medical sonography or a related field required. Experience and training in general ultrasound, vascular and OB in the hospital setting preferred ARDMS Registered and/or ARRT Registry in Radiology Compensation: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour, depending on education and experience. Bonus: $10,000 Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
