JOB DETAILS Radiology: Radiation Oncology - General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.): BLS - Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: Degree in Radiation oncology- Radiation therapy Wyoming State License and national license - How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 2 Vital Beam and True Beam - Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: N/A - Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Breast, lung, prostate, head and neck, esophogeal. Stereotactic- brain, body (SBRT, SRS). No peds. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Experience with the machines True/vital beam. Mosaic experience highly recommended - Average # of scans/studies per day: 25-30 - EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: Mosaiq charting system. - Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): Vital beam and True beam - Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Manager - Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: No - Radiation MD in-house?: In house. - Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department): N/A- nurses would start IVs - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): Shifts- 7-330 M-F (would like them ready to go by 0700) - Weekend Requirements: No - Holiday Requirements: No - Call or Standby requirement? Response time?: No - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?: Any color scrub- Techs there wear black scrubs and white shirts (this is not required though). - Department specific orientation: 1 week until they are by themselves. Review imaging, physician requirements, etc. - Additional Notes: Travelers will not do simulation. Hiking and outdoor activities close. Small facility, close knit.
