Description

Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for:

Ultrasound Technician

1 - Full-Time opening at our Siouxland Community Health - Women's Clinic

(Schedule M-Fri - 40 hours / wk.)

Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:

- Associate degree from accredited ultrasound program

- CAAHEP certification and IA Permit to Practice required

- 1-2 years ultrasound experience preferred

- Basic computer and data entry skills

Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:

- Maintain, operate and adjust ultrasound equipment using proper techniques.

- Perform all ultrasound procedures throughout the clinic.

- Work closely with the radiologist and other licensed medical providers presenting images and data for interpretation.

- Responsible for evaluating images for technical quality.

- These functions are not all inclusive
