Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where youll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate or bachelors degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• Registered by either the ARRT(N) or NMTCB.
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital or equivalent clinical setting.
• Experience with general and cardiac nuclear imaging procedures.
• Familiarity with PET/CT preferred.
• Experience using EPIC (EMR) and Epic Radiant (RIS) preferred.
• Ability to work with departmental equipment including GE Infinia and GE Ventri.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift name: Flex Shifts.
• Typical department schedule: Staffed MondayFriday 7:00 AM4:00 PM with weekend on-call responsibilities.
• Average departmental volume: 710 studies per day; average inpatient census around 400.
• Orientation: 1 day administrative onboarding; 2 days to 1 week departmental training as needed.
• Floating: No floating required.
• Scrub color: Black.
• Parking: Surface lots and parking decks available at no cost.
