Job Description:

Shift: Nights Mon -Thursday

Assists with onboarding, orientation, training, and ongoing competency assessment of technologists and new hires. Supports leadership in performance management through the talent care process, performance reviews, and providing coaching opportunities for team member development. Collaborates with radiologists, leadership, and other departments to facilitate timely and coordinated imaging services. Participates in quality improvement initiatives, including image quality audits, repeat analysis, and process improvement projects. Ensures proper equipment functionality and coordinates preventative maintenance. Participates in scheduling, timekeeping, and supply inventory management to support operational efficiency and budget goals. Provides day-to-day supervision of technologists, support staff, and imaging operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Coordinates daily workflow and staffing assignments, balancing patient volumes, technologist availability, and room utilization. Serves as a clinical resource to technologists, students, and other staff, offering guidance on protocols, positioning, image quality, and regulatory compliance. Monitors and supports compliance with departmental policies, radiation safety guidelines, ALARA principles, and regulatory/accreditation standards. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to prioritize and handle simultaneous assignments with frequent interruptions while paying close attention to the details

Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities and work styles

Ability to practice discretion when discussing confidential personnel/patient related issues

Written and verbal communication skills

Data analysis expertise

Proficiency with business software, including all Microsoft Office applications

Ability to be self-motivated

Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English

Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ability to monitor staff productivity and provide coaching feedback to increase quality and productivity standards

Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals

Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry

Ability to use sound judgment in emergency scenarios

Education:

Associate [Required]

Bachelor's [Preferred]

Work Experience:

1+ leadership experience [Preferred]

5+ years of experience [Preferred]

3-5 years of CT experience

Licenses and Certifications:

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND

Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) [Required] OR

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) [Required] OR

Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) [Required] OR
