Traveling OB/GYN Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech

We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Sonographer (Perinatal Sonographer) to support womens health services in Reno, NV. The clinician will perform diagnostic and obstetrical ultrasound examinations, generate preliminary reports in PACS, assist physicians during procedures, and contribute to sonography laboratory operations and quality assurance. The role involves patient counseling, room and equipment preparation, adherence to privacy regulations, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • ARDMS certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required. RVT registry preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of sonography experience. Experience performing clinic and inpatient scans required.
  • Experience in Womens Health required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nuchal Translucency certification from an accredited source at time of hire.
  • Travelers may be required to float to meet the needs of the organization up to their competency level.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fetal echocardiography (FE) certification strongly preferred.
  • Nasal Bone certification strongly preferred.
  • RVT registry preferred.
  • NRP is not required, but is a plus.

Assignment Details

  • Shift Hours: 08:00 - 16:00 (Days).
  • Typical weekly schedule: Monday through Thursday 08:00 - 16:30; Friday 08:00 - 12:00 (Friday may be full or half day).
  • No call. No weekends.
  • May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.
